A Prayer of Thanksgiving

My God, Thank You for always being near

My God, Thank You,

For You always hold me so dear

You care for me so

And You will never let go

Numbered are the hairs on my head

While I am awake

And even while I am in bed

King Jesus, You will never give up

Even when I fail

Or don’t measure up

My Lord and Savior, You love me so

And deep in my heart, I know

You will never leave me, 

You will never go

Father God, I praise you with all of my being

In my heart and soul, I will praise You

Even after it’s You I am seeing

With mine eyes

For eternity

And for all time

The Mercy of the Father

My Lord, Your mercy flows into my life

As the river flows to the sea

My God, Your love rushes over me

Like Niagra Falls

Heavenly Father, I will trust in You

Even when it is hard to

My Lord and Savior, I will trust in You

Even when I don’t want to

God, greater is Your plan than mine

For I am only a man, and I am Thine

My Savior, Your will for me is good

I will do my best to follow it as I should

Thank You, Lord Jesus

For Your sacrifice

You didn’t have to do it

But to the world, You were nice

Serving you eternally will be my soul’s greatest pleasure

Thank you for saving me

You rescued me just in time

You have really paved the way for me

Wherever you go, I shall not be far behind

For you have defeated sin!!!!!

You took a broken, sinful soul

You made me whole

You made me new

I live to serve only You

You took a life full of shame

You washed away the pain

My Lord, My Savior

You love me, despite even my behavior

Although you don’t condone

You will NEVER disown

You will never give up

And by the way,

Thank You for my pup!

A Deep, Dark Void

I’ve got a deep, dark void

Down in my heart

Deep in my soul

God, come and fill it

I just want to feel whole

I’ve got a deep dark void

Deep in my Spirit

So silent, yet so loud

I can almost hear it

It says to me, “You suck”

I just want to give up

Part of me doesn’t give a fuck

God, drive it out

Make me want to shout with glee

Even if this is my final plea

I may not have done well

But I’ve done my best

Please, make me Blessed

I don’t want to burn in Hell

Please, don’t leave me behind

When it comes my time

When I leave this Earth

I want to shine!

If You Looked Out God’s Window

If you looked out God’s window, I wonder what you’d see

A flower in the open field, perhaps a honey bee?

Maybe it would be a heart full of sorrow,

And perhaps one full of glee

If you looked out God’s window, I wonder what you’d see

A group of Angels in the clouds dancing gleefully?

If you looked out God’s window, I wonder what you’d see

Would you see the moon and stars, perhaps the sun for all eternity?

Would it be a sunrise, or a child that flies a kite?

Would it be a sunset, or a love-struck couple that just met?

Would it be a mother’s tear, because she just heard of her worst fear?

Would it be a father’s sigh, wondering how he will survive?

If you looked out God’s window, I wonder what you’d see

All that you created

All that is

All that was

All that will ever be
