Lend An Ear

Here in Life

Here in Death

Always Here

Just Don’t Smoke Meth

Always Here

Lend An Ear

Lend An Ear

To Spread Some Cheer

Lend An Ear

Just to Hear

Lend An Ear

To Help Survive

Lend An Ear

To Help Me Thrive

Lend An Ear

Don’t Disrespect

And When I’ve Passed On

Please Don’t Forget

Just Lend An Ear

The People of my Church

The people of my church

We are far from perfect

But the Lord above

Still says we are worth it

The people of my church

We all still need Jesus

Every day is a challenge

But Jesus, he still sees us

The people of my church

Mess up in every way

We strive to do better

But we mess up every day

The people of my church

Are all lowly sinners, indeed

But often times I wonder…

Are any of THEM as messed up as ME?

Hangry and Tired

I wish my boss would be found dead

Want to shoot him in the head

Want to punch him in the throat

Take his money and buy a boat

Open the register with a crowbar

Steal the money and fix my car

But then really I don’t see the need

After all, I’m management

I could use my key

I really wouldn’t do any of this

All these things are just a wish

I really mean to do no harm

I hope I didn’t cause alarm

Maybe I should eat some food

It might even fix my mood

I think I might go back to sleep

So please, please, don’t make a peep

If You Looked Out God’s Window

If you looked out God’s window, I wonder what you’d see

A flower in the open field, perhaps a honey bee?

Maybe it would be a heart full of sorrow,

And perhaps one full of glee

If you looked out God’s window, I wonder what you’d see

A group of Angels in the clouds dancing gleefully?

If you looked out God’s window, I wonder what you’d see

Would you see the moon and stars, perhaps the sun for all eternity?

Would it be a sunrise, or a child that flies a kite?

Would it be a sunset, or a love-struck couple that just met?

Would it be a mother’s tear, because she just heard of her worst fear?

Would it be a father’s sigh, wondering how he will survive?

If you looked out God’s window, I wonder what you’d see

All that you created

All that is

All that was

All that will ever be
